The same year Olivia was born, Evie and the twins were ready to go to school.
Evie grew up into kind of a girly girl. Her favorite color was purple and she was always very polite and sweet to everyone around her. Somehow, Evie ended up with the prettiest emerald green eyes. Evie was also very intelligent and excelled in everything she tried to do.
Keaton was still a sweet boy and always very studious. Not that he could get away with slacking in school...Mom and Aunt Shea are always ALWAYS harping on us to do well in school. Seriously, when I get off the bus in the afternoon, it's never, "Hey how was your day?" It's always, "Do your homework before you do anything else!" Ugh! Parents! Anyway...
Kayla was always kind of a wild child. Mom calls her a free spirit, and she never seems to be bothered by Kayla's different way of looking at the world. I guess it's the feminist in her, but I think my mom admires Kayla's complete disregard for societal structure...but I'll discuss that more later.
So...during Olivia's infant years, Evie and the twins were in school, so life was pretty stress free for awhile.
Pretty soon, everyone had gotten older. Evie and the twins were teenagers, Olivia was a toddler, and Mom and Aunt Shea were even progressing into adulthood.
Evie grew up to be a stunning teenager. Not only was she beautiful on the outside, but she was beautiful inside as well. She was always the first to help out around the house, especially with Olivia. She loved children and eventually wanted a lot of them.

Keaton had hit somewhat of an awkward stage. At this point, he hasn't quite grown into his nose and he was a little pudgy. He had developed a love for food and wanted to become a cook. That wasn't all he wanted...
As Keaton & Evie grew up, they got closer and closer, and in their teen years, a romance began to blossom. I think it's kind of weird, but Mom and Aunt Shea don't seem to mind. They always joked that they've been betrothed since birth anyway.
Kayla also grew up to be a beauty. She had a more punk look and she was also a little pudgy (Mom says she carries the fat gene), but Kayla carried her weight well and always had confidence, even in what are supposed to be awkward teenage years. I've always been jealous of Kayla's gorgeous (natural) read hair and violet eyes.
Like I mentioned before, Olivia was a toddler during this time. She grew to be a raven-haired, kind of creepy looking toddler. Even though it's hard to tell, Mom is pretty sure Olivia has her blue eyes. Apparently the black hair along with the vampirism came from her father's side.
I also mentioned before that Evie was always quick to care for Olivia, and so was Keaton. Kayla on the other hand really had to be coaxed to help out. She wasn't much interested in children. Mom took this picture because it was such a rare occurrence, she wanted to remember it. If you look closely, Kayla is actually grimacing and Olivia looks slightly confused.
Well, once again, things were going great. Evie and the twins were in school, taking care of Olivia seemed like a breeze compared to taking care of three toddlers, and Mom and Aunt Shea were progressing nicely in their writing careers. Of course, my mom gets restless and heads back to the sperm bank...

Around this time, Mom tried to talk Aunt Shea into having another baby. I'm not sure just how the conversation went, but I'm pretty sure words like "hell" and "no" were included.
