Let Me Explain...Mom & Aunt Shea

I know pretty much every teenager feels like they need to explain the weirdness that is their parents, but in my case, I really do. I haven't had what you would call a normal childhood. Most kids have a mom and a dad, or a mom and a step-dad, or just a mom, or just a dad. Maybe even two moms and two dads...As for me? None of the above.
I had a mom:

and then I had an Aunt Shea:

So...before you think you have it all figured out, wait just a minute. My mom and my Aunt Shea are not lesbian lovers...in fact, eww...so get your mind right out of the gutter! LOL, ok, just kidding.
Here's the low-down...
My mom, Christy, and Aunt Shea are best friends. They met in college as aspiring writers. My mom majored in Psychology and Women's Studies (don't get her started on misogynistic issues, I'm begging you!), while Aunt Shea got a masters in English (do you think I can EVER get away with misspelling something or using a run-on sentence in any of my school papers? No...Aunt Shea makes everything I write bleed purple).
Well, after college, they both decided to become professional authors, but they were clueless as to what to do with their personal lives. See, both Mom and Aunt Shea wanted children (or in Aunt Shea's case, one child), but they were both commitment phobic, so they didn't want to find men and get married. They had no idea what to do...
Mom suggested meeting random men in bars and getting pregnant that way, but Aunt Shea reminded her of a simple fact: That's a great way to get AIDS or other STDs.
Well, after a lot of soul-searching...and Googling, Mom and Aunt Shea found a sperm bank online that would allow them to have children on their own, without having to find husbands or boyfriends and not contract anything that would make their lady parts itch. So that's how they both got pregnant at the same time...
Ok, I realize you can barely see my Aunt Shea in this picture, but that's because every time the camera tries to take a picture of both my mom and Aunt Shea, it gets confused because my mom is so pasty and my Aunt Shea is considerably darker.
So, after months of waiting, not two, but three babies came on the scene...yup...look closely...my mom was carrying twins!
Aunt Shea gave birth to Evie:
While my mom gave birth to my older brother & sister: Keaton & Kayla
